Finding what you need around town……

There are a few areas in Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach where you can do your shopping. If you want to stay close to the beach, you can visit the quaint Point Pleasant Beach downtown shopping area. It is centered around Arnold Ave., Bay Ave, and Route 35. Here you will find a grocery store, delis, restaurants, a hardware store, coffee shops and really much of anything you might need during a visit to the local area. There is also quite a collection of Antique dealers, with some of the shops filling mutiple floors in some very large buildings. You can find a list of all the Antinque dealers below.

the Point Pleasant Beach Harware StoreThere are also a number of businesses along Route 35, in the area heading south from downtown Point Pleasant Beach. This drive contains a string of small strip mall shops and a few larger businesses. You can find restaurants, shops, drug stores and a Hoffman's Ice Cream store along this route. The road splits at the junction with Route 88 and there are some businesses found further along Route 35 and on Route 88. Most notably there is a McDonalds, Burger King, the Ocean Bay Diner, and a Hotel at this junction.

A third large concentration of businesses is found around the intersection of Bridge
Ave and Route 88 (Lakewood Dr). A large Stop and Shop food store is found at this crossroads and there are also numerous businesses that line both of these busy roads. Below you will find a select listing of a few different types of businesses.
